That sentence goes word for word because Amazon requires it. What follows is the same idea explained the way you would explain it to a person.
When you buy something after arriving through a link on this site, Amazon pays me a commission. It does not cost you a cent more: it comes out of what Amazon already makes.
Computers are one of the worst-paying categories Amazon has — the rate is a low single-digit percentage of the price, and it is the same whether the machine costs two hundred dollars or two thousand. If this were about making money quickly, the site would be about something else.
The Spanish side of this site sells through the Mexican and Spanish stores, where the rates and the caps are different. This page describes the store you are buying from here — amazon.com, shipping worldwide.

No brand gets in by paying more.
Every maker here is here because an independent source backs it, and that source is written next to it. If I cannot name who says so, the maker does not get in.
Level 0 of the homelab costs nothing.
That is on purpose, and it is the section where I earn least: the right recommendation there is that you buy nothing and use the machine already sitting in your closet.
I tell you when NOT to buy.
Every distribution says who it is not for. Every homelab level says what the classic mistake is, and almost every classic mistake is spending too early.

Of the 23 homelab parts, 54 lead to a specific product on amazon.com and -31 lead to a search. Searches are valid and they pay too, but they are less useful to you, so they get replaced by the exact product as I verify them one by one.
I would rather send you to a search than to a product I did not check. A working link to the wrong item loses you money just the same.
